The most exciting fashion runway event is going on in Seattle tonight. I have high expectations, but I know there will be a sensational presentation of fall collections from renowned American and European designers. My lovely photographer and I will be looking fabulous. I'll be wearing Pencey with my Prada, and she's selected a vintage cocktail dress from a private collector.
This event is presented by Nordstrom in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum Supporters and is generously supported by Sterling Vintner's Collection, Ciroc Vodka, and Domaine Chandon. Gotta love the combination of alcohol and clothes.

What is the attire?
Festive attire or business attire is appropriate.
Where is The Paramount Theatre located?
Located on the corner of 9th Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Seattle, one block north of the Washington State Convention Center, and directly across the street from the Convention Place Metro Tunnel entrance.
Premium Runway: $750 per person. SOLD OUT
Includes complimentary valet parking, Designer Preview gift, cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert and the best seats available on the runway.
Runway level: $500 per person. SOLD OUT
Includes complimentary valet parking, Designer Preview gift, cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert and preferred personalized seating on the runway.
Connoisseur level: $350 per person.
(Limited availability, first-come, first-served basis)
Includes complimentary valet parking, Designer Preview gift, cocktail and hors d’oeuvre reception, dessert and preferred personalized seating.
Patron level: $175 per person.

Is valet parking available?
Yes, for Premium, Runway and Connoisseur level ticket holders.
How will seats be assigned?
Runway or Connoisseur guests may request seating with other guests who have reservations at the same level. Please indicate with whom you wish to be seated when making your reservation.
Will the event have a no-host bar?
All available beverages will be included in your ticket price.
How much money will this event raise?
Last year the Nordstrom Designer Preview raised $180,000 to benefit the Seattle Art Museum, and this year we hope to do just as well.
What will the proceeds from the Nordstrom Designer Preview benefit?
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Seattle Art Museum's upcoming exhibition of American master sculptor Alexander Calder, Alexander Calder: A Balancing Act, on view October 15, 2009–April 11, 2010.
Because supporting the arts is an important part of its charitable giving, Nordstrom is proud to partner with the Seattle Art Museum Supporters (SAMS) and SAM. Nordstrom and SAMS have partnered for the past twenty-four years to present the Nordstrom Designer Preview.
