Peace, Love & Fashion

The Art Institute of Seattle will be holding their 11th Annual Fashion Show at the Showbox SoDo (1700 1st Avenue) tomorrow. I am a little upset I can't make it, but I plan to speak with some designers after the show. I feel like I need to interview more local up-and-coming designers. What do you think?
Guest designer, Blayne Walsh from Project Runway, will be in attendance. He was a graduate from the Seattle Art Institute, so he'll be back to judge the Senior collections. Everything is inspired by the 60's, so I'm sure Blayne will love the color palette!

If you are interested in attending, there will be a matinee show at 5:00 PM for high-school students with a valid ID, and a show at 8:00 PM. You can purchase tickets for $20 in advance through Ticketmaster at (206) 628-0888, or online. Tickets are available at the door, but they are $25.

For more information, or to inquire about press-passes or VIP seating opportunities, feel free to contact Mark R. Livingston, Director of Communications at The Art Institute of Seattle at mlivingston@aii.edu, or call (206) 239-2562.
